These days, probably the quickest way to get a response from me is to ping me a quick tweet. However, I do respond to emails every now and then when I get the inclination. If you’ve sent me an email and not heard back, I can only apologise profusely – send me another one telling me how rubbish I am and I’ll get back to you just as soon as I can.

I visited Barcelona in the summer of 1970, but failed to enter La Sagrada Familia. Your photos give me a grasp of what exactly that oversight meant. A friend sends me amateur shots from Europe which miss your selecting of angle, lighting and perhaps equipment.
On the side, I cannot figure out whether comments at my blog which Akismet catches are spam. I went looking for how others deal with this and came upon you. If you have a moment, let me know how you manage; otherwise, your article has been a treat. Thank you.
Hi David – sorry I don’t really do anything with Akismet, I let it get on with it – I’ve never looked at what it’s been catching! Sorry!
Glad you liked the photos – it’s worth noting that in 1979, the Sagrada wouldn’t have looked like this, they only finished the interior in 2010, when I went in 2004 the interior was a complete mess of scaffolds and building materials 🙂
