So Bute Park – it’s pretty good isn’t it? Oasis of calm in the middle of our fair city, it’s always a good location to carry out a portrait shoot.
I photographed the beautiful Courteney all the way back at the very end of August last year, just before I was about to jet off on one of my many trips I’ve made in the intervening time (yeah I’m behind on uploading photos to this here blog, but didn’t you read, I’ve been on like, loads, of trips… I’ll get around to it eventually).
Anyway, here may I present a set of photos of Courteney – she was great to work with, and I think this was only her second photoshoot, having only just started out as a model. I think she will do well.
For those that are interested in such things, I shot these photos with a Nikon D810 and a Canon 1200D… pretty much opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to intended users, but what can you do, I was reviewing them both at the time 🙂
If you really want to know which was taken with which, you can click on any of the photos – but see if you can spot the difference between a £350 camera and a £3000 one… I know I would struggle to tell if I didn’t already know.
As always, comments, suggestions, thoughts, missives and other musings are always welcome in the comments box below. Until next time… whenever that is….
I can’t tell the difference to be honest, but the brands don’t want too many people to realise, otherwise they’d not sell the big expensive beasts!! Nice post ,highlighting what that famous photographer, whose name escapes me at the moment, said. “the best camera is the one you have with you”!
Lovely portraits and great model too!
